Hello everyone, I've had a Max II for a few years now, and recently found this site. I don't know of many people locally that have 6X6's, most people in my area have never seen them. I'm not able to take mine out as much as I'd like to, but it's got to be one of the best "toys" I've ever bought, the whole family loves it.

Hey mosh, welcome to the site. You should try starting a thread in the Local 6x6 World Members forum and just see if there are other members in your area. It's a lot of fun riding with other 6x6 and 8x8 ATVs and you never know when someone will be just around the corner from your house.

My name is Beau, and I live in Northeast Tennessee. I own a performance Mustang and Ford shop called Blue Oval Classics, Inc. One of my customers came in one day a couple of weeks ago, and said that he had an 8x8 listed on Ebay. It was an LTV KID. It ended up not making the reserve, and after some research, I knew that I wanted it. I called him, and we did some horse trading. Anyway I ended up with it. It is in operable condition, but has a few issues. This site has already been of great help to me, with finding resources for the KID. I can't wait to get this thing in the mountains!

Welcome to the site guys! Northeast Tennessee has some really great mountains for riding.....that 8x8 KID should do the job nicely.
Chris, if you're from Erie, PA you should shoot down to Ashtabula, OH for the races and trail riding on June 18-20. This is going to be one of the biggest AATV events in a long time! Ashtabula is probably only about 45 minutes from Erie, straight down I-90.

Bought a Max II used a couple years ago to use hauling fire wood out of the woods, (that is how I sold the idea to my wife). Our wood lot it extreme, large rocks and in some areas very steep. I built a 4 wheel dump trailer to tow behind my Max. We have found that it is a great way to get out in the woods and just ride around and have fun.
Was looking for a place where I could get information and ideas about 6 X 6's. I have been enjoying the posts and pic, looks like this will be a great site.

Gordk here. I live in Canada (Vanaastr Onario) and have recently picked up an older argo 6x6. I took a small engine (Penn) course last winter and hope to use some of the skills before I loose it. The argo has sat for years. it It has a Canadian Kohler and I have been unable to trace a manual, however wihile seaching I saw this web site and it looked like a good site to share information.
Thank you for the opportunity to join and share. Gordk.
