hey mike, i have been trying to decide between an argo and a max. my biggest need is 4 hard pack trail rideing. trying to keep pace with 4 wheelers sounds like an issue with a 6x6. i notice some of your vids and your max looks like it will move pretty fast. what is the top speed? what size motor? and have you made any mods (speed related) to it? thanx and keep up the good work.
Hey everybody my name is britton. i am from Chocowinty, NC.
guess ill tell you a little about myself. i attended East Carolina University and have a BS in Mechanical Technology. while at ECU i made the baseball team and played two years for the pirates. After school and baseball were over i picked up where i left off as a 9 year old kid, riding four-wheelers around my house and riding with family and friends. Ever since i can remember i have heard an only seen photo's of AATV's. Never been in one or seen one up close. I have always wanted to take one for a spin but never knew anybody that had one. So looking on youtube and seeing what these things can do, i am trying to trade or sell my 2001 Honda Foreman S so that i may buy one. please feel free to give me any tips on what to look for in these 6x6's. hope to here from you all.

Welcome to the site. There is an aatv buyers guide here on the site. It has a aatv buyers guide checklist you can print out. You should check it out.
Thanks LarryW!!! that will help alot. Do you know anything about a 2002 Argo vanguard? it is a 16HP. i just would like to hear what you think about it. that is one i am looking at right now.
Hi ogrebeppu. Welcome to the site. Good luck in your search for an AATV.
Same to you Cole. You will have to join us for a ride since you are close to Busco Beach in Goldsboro, NC. We go there twice a year and will post up in the trail ride section when we are going. It's typically in April and October.
Hello everyone. Just got my first 6x6, an old Attex with a JLO 295. The motor didn't run, and the wiring was shot. With the help of this forum I've got the motor running (low compression though). Anyway these things are AWESOME. I'm hooked. I have a 1937 Plymouth Rat Rod that is now pushed into the corner of the shop. All extra $ is going to the Attex now. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions... thanks in advance.
HELLO to All!
I just purchased my first six wheeler, and really look forward to getting so great information from this website and forum. I purchased a 2002 max iv and am tickled as a new pup!

Thanks for the welcome! And I will be taking it out this weekend, and will let you all know how it goes. The wife has already banned me from the yard for doing way to many donughts!
