Hey all. My name is matt. Just picked up an Amphicat. 68 or 69. Thing looks pretty neat. Haven't been able to drive it yet. Need to pick up some tires n wheels and fix the hull. Plastic is getting brittle and was thinkin about stripping the ole girl down and repairing the hull and then rhino lineing the inside and out for added strenth and water proofing. Needing help on finding parts and don't know alot about it. Having trouble with carb. N e suggestions on a replacement carb. Has sachs 270 and stock carb. Any help is welcome. Thanks. Can't wait to get this thing going.

          • Hey Matt, welcome to the site. Try starting a new thread in the engine forum for advice on your carb. Not everyone checks this thread. Good luck with your Cat.

            • Hello Everyone
I am new to the 6x6 world forum. I am looking for information on an amphibious vehicle- 8x8 that was mfg by "Range Cat". It is a 1998 year model and looks to have similar components to an ARGO. Does anyone have information on a "Range Cat 775". Thank you for any assistance.

              • Hi, Just acquired a Max 2. Am living in Ireland. Are there any members from Ireland. Put mine to work already pulling turf off the bog and have put a couple of quads to shame.

                      • Hello. I am Brent. I have been a member her for a while but never said hey. I had an Attex a long time ago and recently got an Argo Bigfoot. It suits me a little better now that I'm older.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

                              • Hey from a Alberta! Excited to be here. I don't own an aatv yet, but that is going to change as soon as I find a suitable 80s 8x8! I have a little tracked carrier with a kubota 15 horse diesel in it. Would this be a suitable engine for an 8x8?
