Hello everybody! I used to drive AATV's 20 years ago and am just now getting involved again. Have three Scramblers and a Camel Centipede to rebuild. Seeing this site gets me inspired and the wheels are going to turn. Centipede will be first as the Scramblers will all get extensive modifications to the drive trains. Looking forward to driving them again and maybe hooking up with other enthusiasts. This is going to be GREAT!
Chuck from Ohio.
Cirrus6,welcome to the site. There are a few rides in Ohio during the summer months. Ashtabula in June and sometimes the Ledges in late July/early Aug. Keep an eye out on this site. Always great to meet new local members.
Hello everyone, though I've been "lurking"/reading and learning on here for a few months, I'm finally getting around to introducing myself. I found the site, as I'm sure many others did, researching for a potential purchase. This site has already proven to be a wealth of information, especially for someone who didn't even know these machines existed! I'll do my best to search before asking and try to postitively contribute when able to. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding toward, yet another newbie.

My name's Mike too and I've been lurking for a while as well. So much information and cool stuff to look at on this site/forum... everytime I went to post an introduction, I got sidetracked reading posts or looking at videos.
I used to own a Scrambler MK XII, but sold it about 15 years ago to fund another project. I knew/know that it wasn't a great vehicle, but I loved the look of the Scramblers... and I did have some fun with it.
Have had the urge to get back into AATVs again, but want a "real" machine. Still building up the funds to do it and have to sell off a few more of my other toys before I can take the plunge, but am good friends with Cirrus6 and will be involved with his builds once the weather starts to break and it warms up a bit.
Very anxious to meet alot of you and check out your machines at Pine Lake this June. I can't believe that I have lived in Ohio all of these years (since '61) and never heard of it before -- especially because it's only about an hour away. What can I say?!
Great forum and some seriously awesome machines, you guys. I'm looking forward to being an active member. Got one question for starters, though: how does one prevent or overcome being "timed out" and automatically logged off? That's driving me nuts...
There are many projects out there for a decent price, especially if your located in Ohio. To stay logged in click the remember me box when you log in. Just don't click it on other people's computers.
Hello
I am from Manitoba Canada. I don't own a unit yet but am very seriously considering one. My Quad just bit the dust so am now looking for a replacement. I have been browsing this site for a while so decided to join up. So just heads up I may have some very basic questions here.
