thats only half the cage in that picture some of it was already removed but it was for paint balling.. they used it to haul the troops and called it there paintball panzer..

i have not even looked at the gears to know what i have yet..

the big kid of the family

this kid it the bully of the family.. it has it all but the canvas [witch i am still looking for one] 3 point, pto, perkins deisel, side board kit, fender flares, tracks, front blade,..all the sheet metel is complete and the battery tray is still in the front floor board like the factor made it.. its all there and is not missing nothing from the factory but the canvas..

Do you have the factory canvas cab for your kid 8x8? if so i would sure be interested in renting it to use as a blue print to make me a canvas cab for mine.. let me know

Hey I've really enjoyed this thread, lot's of good work going on. Makes me want to run the chickens out of the barn and get back to work on the Kiidd.

Got any experience with the fuel system? Hopefully I now have the fuel tank leaks plugged. I figured the pump is a goner. The carb will need cleaning with a rebuild kit installed. Anyone have ideas for upgrading the system?

anybody know how to get the gearbox and trans off a kid Since it has warmed up I got back to work on it and now am stuck but once I get the engine by itself ill be over the half way point! There on out things will just be getting put back together.

by the way I did look at the manual and it said there were five bolts 3 on bottom of gearbox 2 on top and i only found 3 on bottom and one of them was a drain plug for the gearbox

There are 5 bolts 3 are on the lower half of the case the other 2 are inside of the case at the top you must remove the pumps to access them.

Pictures of the progress ive made over spring break. Im dead in the middle of a ground up restoration of my KID. Should be awesome when im done since ive never driven it or any other amphib for that matter!
