        • Hello everyone new guy here just received a free running and moving 6x6 from what I can tell it's a chapparel? not sure of year don't even know where to look? It has a t20 (must be old has bar for plunger levers not channel and bar on shifting fork not diamond shape) and upgraded 4 hole wheels needs some crack repair and a seat also has honda engine heck it was free! I am a longtime atv and dirt bike rider always wanted to try the 6x6 should be fun I am from northern minnesota so I am excited to see if it will go through snow! Cool ice fishing rig if it goes in snow. Also if anyone has any info about these 6x6's I would like to know where to look seems there is not alot known about chapparel 6x6 maybe there junk! Who knows? I happy with it.

            • Hi Norcal 6x6, I also just joined and live in Northern Ca. I don't have a 6x6 but I'm looking for a good used one. If you hear of anything would you let me know. I found one in Chico and the guy answered my email and said he still had it, but I haven't heard from him since. Thank you dbuggyduke@yahoo.com

Hi kitz, welcome to the forum. Do you have any photos of your 6x6? Someone could help identify it if you need some verification that it is a Chaparral like you believe. I really like the looks of the Chaparral.

Hi ssabe1, welcome to the site. It's hard to go wrong with a $200 max. You could sell the transmission and double your money if you ever wanted to. As for the jackshaft replacement, check out this how-to article on adjusting your chains: How to adjust Max II Chains While that doesn't specifically show you how to replace the jackshaft, it does show you the nuts that you have to loosen to get the jackshaft off. If you will remove the chains on the jackshaft and then look at it, it will be fairly evident on what you need to do to remove the jackshaft after watching that video. If you need further help just start a new thread in the Max forum.

Just received my argo conquest 8x8 last month. Has only 250 hours on it. had to replace one idler bearing and several chains but other than that it is in like new condition. I live in northern alberta where there is plenty of crown land and cut lines to travel on. My machine is equipped with alternator, soft top, rear bench, brush guard, ,standard tracks, heater, and bilge pump. will post some pictures shortly when I figure out how. Had this machine shipped from Ontario. I am really enjoying my new aatv and use it almost every day after work and my son loves going for a ride with me.

                    • Greetings from Cleveland oh . I recently found a scrambler mark V11. It looks to be complete but it is missing the rims and tires . I was just wondering if anyone knows what rim and tire combo works with 1 1/4 shafts . Thank you

                      • Welcome 6 wheel deal,
I'm a little confused by your question. If your looking for rims and tires, the bolt pattern is what matters not the axle diameter. My guess is its a standard 4 bolt pattern. Next weekend we will be having a big ride/swap meet in Ashtabula. If you can make it, it may be helpful for you.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

                        • I think Drew was typing on his phone again, and meant to say "3 bolt".
That is the standard for the old balloon tires, and they aren't made anymore. People now convert to a 4 bolt or 5 bolt pattern usually by the use of adapters. Here are links to templates http://www.6x6world.com/forums/conte...g-adapter.html and http://www.6x6world.com/forums/conte...e-adapter.html
And here are the tires you need http://www.6x6world.com/forums/parts...tml#post153139
