    • Hi all,

I'm a retired soldier, rode ATV's and bikes pretty much all my life. I recently picked up an Argo 6x6 from a fellow member here, PowerFistArgo. I'm already planning on picking up where he left off with the rebuild.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks Mike. I'll post some pics after I get some work done, no heat in my garage and it's a bit cold right now to spend to much time in there. But I'll beara making plans so I can get started as soon as it warms up.

              • Hello,

My name is John Jewell and I live in Boiling Springs, S.C. which is about 15 minutes from North Carolina. I have wanted a 6x6 since I was a kid and I finally got one. I have a 1998 Max IV and it is an awesome machine. I am looking forward to spring and finding some people to ride with.

                • Hi John,

Welcome to the site. You aren't too far away from a lot of us here in NC and there are a couple of members in SC really close to you. We are having a ride in Goldsboro, NC in April, and while it is a bit of a drive, it would be worth it if you are wanting to ride with others. Check out the trail ride forum for more information.

                  • Hey guys and gals, I'm new to the world of Argos and such. Got a 98 conquest this fall with tracks and a second set of tires. A steal of a deal. I'm in the process of adding a couple of things, alt kit, motor mount for a boat motor bilge pump. Used it the first time to recover a downed moose on the other side of a fairly deep creek was impressed with the argos capability. Hope to learn a bit about the machine itself on these forms and swap stories. Living in northern Alberta,Canada

                      • Hi Prairiewolf

                        Welcome,

You're not all that far from me, I'm in the far NE corner of BC.

Hey, there is supposed to be a Mudd Ox dealer someplace around you, do you know where? The dealer said a few times that he was going to bring a couple machines around to where I live, but he has never come through.

                              • New guy here. I've been a Jeep guy for 17 years..... built many of them - rockcrawlers, mud boggers, etc. Currently selling my rig and planning to buy an Argo 6x6. Need something for the wife and 2 kids at the cottage so we can all go to teh beach in the same rig... also plan on using it for hunting big game and fishing some of the smaller ponds which have swampy areas around it. I've ridden in a few 6x6's many years ago..... was thinking about buying a side x side but want the versatility of a 6x6. Anyhow great site you guys have here!
